It’s Day 3 of Bugaboos Birthday Bash!

Today’s challenge is to create a project using Primary colors and Bling!

I decided to to a little different and put my spin on a project I had seen before. So using a used Candle Jar and some Dollar Store Bubble Gum I creased my Stella inspired “40 Blows Jar”. I just knew when I saw this project that Stella would be a perfect image for this project!

I love how it turned out and is sure to be a hit!

Well I decided do use an adorable card I found on the web the I just had to try it so I combined two of other Bugaboo Birthday Penguin images.

It’s a very simple card but think it would be a great card for a child to receive. they then can create as they see fit!

I created a quick little house warming present or a party gift just something fun. I got my towels and pot holders rolled them together with ribbon and a gold button to top it off!

Baby It’s Cold Outside!

It’s time for another challenge today and our theme is Baby it’s Cold Outside! I don’t know about you but today it is cold!

Below are some cups I made for my “Big” (Believe in God) kids that I teach on Wednesday nights. I found these cups at the Dollar Tree. They are great b/c you open them up and can “customize them” . So I took some wrapping paper I had and lined them with that then added the Bugaboo image one for the boys and one for the girls.

I included a pack of hot chocolate and marshmallows inside the mug and topped it with this great ribbon I have had which is red on one side and green on the other added a candy cane to finish it off. I was able to give them each a little something for less than $1.50!

Well Day 8 is of course 8 maids a milking! Our Play on this is something with “milk and cookies”! I created a recipe card using one of my favorite cookie recipe “Magic Cookie Bars”. This is a great recipe that takes very little effort to create! I used paper from Me and My big ideas paper pack and image from the Occupation Bears line.

I created a tag with JJ Cheers! I think this will make a great package topper for one of the “Guys” on Christmas Eve when we do a “White Elephant” exchange.

Tutorial Time!

Thanks for stopping by today! I am very excited because I get to show you a tutorial that I made up! Last year I started seeing these adorable Tea Light Cards and I fell in love with them! I found several but just did not find any that were quick and easy which is all I seem to have time for anymore. So I decided to create my own. One of my favorite card folds is the Easel card so I decided to make my project using the easel fold, I hope you enjoy!

Supplies needed:

1 Sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock cut into 3 pieces:

1—5 1/2 x 8 1/2

2—4 1/4 x 5 1/2

3 Tea lights

Designer paper

Tape Runner

Die for circles

Step 1: Take the 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 card stock and score at

4 1/4 and then at 6 1/4 this is easel base.

Step 2: Take one of the 2—4 1/4 x 5 1/2 sheets and score it at 1/2. 1 1/4, 3, 3 1/4 this makes the box for the tea lights!

Step 3: Here is where you use your die to cut your openings for the tea lights. Before you start with that go ahead and cover that piece with your designer paper so that you only have to cut them out once. Also mark the underside for easy line up

Step 4: Now you are going to glue your box down by lining it up at the edge of your card base.

Step 5: After you have the first edge taped down I used glue dots to put my lights down then pressed down on the glued areas.

Step 6: Now it is time to decorate your other 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 sheet and attach it to your card base.

Finished Product!

Hello and welcome back to the CDAC Progressive Challenge. I am happy to start you off for Challenge (cdacpc6) with the brand spanking new Challenge as well as brand new images for this round as well!

Below is my card using the adorable image by Ellephantastic I got to use this round. I decided to use a coloring page as the background I then used an oval punch cut out to make a spring to add movement to my card.

We are so excited to have special guest today . Our theme today is Animal Antics and the Greeting Farm team is joining us today for our very first Team swap. This is when they join us for a challenge and in return we join one of their challenges. The team is so excited to have them play long with our challenge today.

Below is my card using one of the newer sets Silhouette – Elephant. I just love this set. I changed the color to match the Creamy Carmel Stampin Up cardstock. Added my own sentiment and ribbon to finish it off!

New Challenge Time!!!

Today is the first day of our newest challenge and today we want to see your Halloween ABC’s

Below is my project. I got some coasters a while back and they came in this clear box so of course I decided right a way it would be prefect for this challenge! I used the Make it Snappy Boo Too You image and thought it was perfect for this project. I added the bright colorful candy and twine to finish it off!

It’s Tuesday so you know what that means Bugaboo Stamps has a new batch of images that you Silhouettes are going to love! Today we’re releasing a a few new Silhouettes Collection that is like nothing Jodie has ever released before.

This image is just one of the images being relased today. What I love about this image is the fact that there is no coloring involved making this a hit for card making in a hurry!

This Adorable image is just one of the “Sweet Peas” available for purchase in Bugaboo Stamps' Store starting today – as well as the complete set. Check out the other images being displayed by the team!
I used the butterfly from the new images, I recolored it on my computer before printing. I added it to PTI cardstock with ribbon and a “freebie” sentiment to finish off.

Time for Round 4 at CDAC Progressive Challenge!

Hello and welcome back to the CDAC Progressive Challenge. I am happy to start you off for Challenge (cdacpc2) with the brand spanking new Challenge as well as brand new images for this round as well! This months theme is Halloween/Mystical with a great design element thrown in as well.

Below are the two cards I got to use this round using two of the great images being offered to all returners and for a small fee to those who want to jump in!

On this card I actually used all digi papers on my PTI black cardstock. The ribbon is also Digi. I then cut out my image and put it on pop dots added some black flock for his hair and some bling to finish it off!

On my second card I had this beautiful what I consider a design element but have to admit had no idea what to do with it at first. It took a little effort to get it lined up but I have to say I love the outcome. I printed directly on my PTI cardstock, added just a black strip I scored for texture, some lace and a computer generated sentiment. As you can see I also added some pearls to give it a dressy look.
