Stamp Something For Jamie

I came across an amazing blog hop today which  ultimately brought me to this blog http://spreadthelove-forjaimie.blogspot.com/   It is the story of an 11 year old who is now dealing with the loss of her mother in the most horrible way possible.  It is also about the courage of a little girl who was also injured during the attack on her mother.  The blog hop is an awesome gesture to shower this little girl with love, hope and well wishes during this difficult time.

I hope my post will catch the eye of someone who has not seen the blog yet and will also that the journey I did to the end of the blog.  Kudos to everyone involved in setting up this wonderful blog hop for all of us  be able to help spread a little hope and remind ourselves that life is precious and can change in an instant.

Let it Snow!

This is a card I did for Victoria Case's Challenge blog http://vcstampchallenges.blogspot.com/ . 

What a neat challenge, 1 layer.   You don't realize how difficult it is because we have tried forever to get as many layers that we could but now just take it to 1 can throw you off.  This was a lot of fun though.  The stamp is from the winter collection, another of the sweet blog candy I won.  the Snow is my "Faux" flower soft just plain old Styrofoam glued on to look like snow.   I hope you like it!

I was really excited to use on to the new Whiff of Joy stamps I had just received on saturday.  The Challenge was to use Red , Cream and another color.  I found this paper that had the blue in it and I thought it would be perfect.  Thanks for looking.
