I used a freebie stamp as a background for my stamp then I took a circle and cut it in a spiral to make the ghost not only pop but to also wiggle.   This was  tutorial that was shared by one of our past DT members.  Paper used was paper in my stash that I think was Stampin up but I could not find the name sorry.

happy Monday at Bugaboo!

Over at Catch the bug  Challenge blog for Bugaboo stamps we do an ABC every Monday.  Well today is my turn and I am so excited to show you my find!  When we took my daughter to college last weekend we had to run into a Dollar General for some last minute missing items.  As I was walking back up to the front to pay I found these adorable “Herb Gardens” which contained everything you need to do an indoor herb garden.  Well this excited me because I have one out in my yard and we use the herbs to help season our meals so my  daughter decided she wanted one for her dorm room.  Unfortunately that was one of the things we just did not get around to doing before she left so I snagged it and went to pay.  Well guess what instead of the $6 that was marked on it it was marked down to .60!  I was so excited and let me assure you I went back to get many more, I figured at that price I could not pass it up.
My moms birthday is this weekend so I thought this would be a cute little extra gift to give her.
On a side note while Skyping with my daughter today she was excited to show us she has new plants!

Hi!  I’m Tiffany Richards, owner of TiffanyDoodles.  I’m having the time of my life doing what I was born to do!  My background is in Wed Design and Photography.  I have been self employed for eight years and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my work!  Since childhood, I’ve always been creative and taken great pleasure in drawing and painting.  About a year ago, I discovered the stamping and paper crafting world and just fell in love!!  In a very short order, I began transforming some of my drawings
and doodles into “digis”.  It has truly been a joy to share them with
folks.  I get so thrilled every time I see something new that someone has created with one of my stamps!!  Each design is like a child of mine and it’s really neat to see it all grown up and out in the world being all it can be…LOL!
All of my digital stamps are originally created by me and of the multiple styles I offer, most are hand-drawn images.  Some are brushed up in
Photoshop using the pen tool to produce very clean lines and others are left with a sketchy, rustic, hand-drawn look.  An additional digi-style is one that I’ve dubbed as PhotoSketches and these are images from my own photographswhich I transformed into sketches with a little help from Photoshop. These beauties make splendid realistic images for stamping! One of the ways that I wish to say “thank you” to all of the folks that follow TiffanyDoodles is by offering a brand new Freebie every Thursday.  I’ve received a hefty response from this which has encouraged me to continue creating even more!!
I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to make these daily artsy expressions that others enjoy.  It is a ton of fun to have this creative outlet where I also get to meet other crafty people like myself.
Prize Package: 5 STAMPS OF WINNERS CHOICE

Welcome to Tutorial Day for Bugaboo!

Well it is my turn to do a tutorial so I decided to share a product I discovered a few years ago but had not done for a while.

My project today will show you how to make your own fabric sheets  to run through your inkjet printer.  I will not only show you how to make your sheets but I have included my special tee shirts that I created  Bugaboo Digital images.

Materials List

Materials List :

Ink Jet Printer

White or light colored fabric

(I used white muslin however any cotton fabric will work for this process)

Freezer paper

Plain White  paper

image

Bubble Jet ink rinse

***Please note step one must be done 1 day prior so that your fabric is prepped

step 1  Cut a piece of fabric a little bit bigger than the 8.5"x11" or if your printer  will handle larger paper you may use larger size.

Take 1 Gallon cold water in bucket or large bowl  and 4 caps of Bubble Jet Rinse which  can be purchased here and just rinse your fabric. One bottle will last forever but is also good for other things.  This will rinse out all the additives that are in the fabric and also keep the ink from running. Take the fabric out of the water and let air dry.

step 2  Cut the freezer paper to an even larger size to give you a nice margin of error here.

image

step 3  Iron the fabric and the freezer paper (there is a smooth side and a rough side place the smooth side against fabric this will stick to the fabric after you iron it..

image

step 4  Trim the combined fabric paper to something your printer can accept. For me, that's letter-size.

 image

image image

step 5  You now have a piece of fabric that is supported by the attached piece of freezer paper. This makes the resulting combination solid enough to be grabbed by the printer without flopping about. Treat the finished piece like a regular piece of paper and stick it into an inkjet printer.  Be sure you put you paper in how ever your  printer requires, mine has to go in upside down, yours may be different.

step 6 It’s time to pick your image.  I chose Bugaboo images for mine.  I opened them up in Paint.net, a free photo editing program like Photoshop  you can download here and I colored my images by filling them in with the bucket option. After I colored and saved my images I opened them up in Publisher, sized them and added text, this can be done in word or any program you use for your Digital images.   Please note this can be a tedious step but it just takes a little practice, so don't give up!

P1040801

These are my images on my fabric, can you believe how cute they look?   To finish up my project i cut them down and turned the hem under and put the image on felt.  I then sawed them down to make my tees.   This is such a great way to personalize your projects, we have made picture quilts before using this process, just think of all the items you can do.

I want to share with you some items I made for a Baby shower last week we had a church for a lovely couple.  This great couple are so blessed, they have a 15 year old daughter and were told many years ago that they would never have another child. Well needless to say god has better plans for them and they discovered this spring that she was 6 months pregnant.  Needless to say they are so excited and we are keeping them and their family in our thoughts and prayers as she goes in tomorrow to have her baby.

The first item I am sharing today is my diaper cake, decorated with rolled up diapers and little goodies which make this cake not only adorable for a centerpiece or a baby’s room but all 100% usable!
