Time for A Color Challenge!

Below is my Gold, Green and White card using an adorable image from Hambo Stamp’s found here.   I have been following their challenge blog  Ho Down challenge for a few weeks and this is the freebie image of the week.   I is pretty cool you play and then they send you the image for the following week.    

I used Gold Leaf paper from my stash and PTI as my green.  The sentiment stamp was a freebie from Rain Echo.   Thanks for stopping by today  and please consider joining in our challenge this week!

SKETCH CHALLENGE TIME!

ECKK, I forgot to post my card this am! I am so sorry!  We left early this am to go visit with my daughter and friends at a church they visit (she is away at college we met about halfway).   We then went to lunch stole some hugs to hold us til  next week when she is on Spring Break.  So with out further delay…

Winter Games!

Good Morning all!   It's time for a new challenge over at Crafty Ho's.  Yippee!  We are one year old!   Crafty Ho’s has been going strong for 1 year this week!  Thanks to all of you who have made it possible! 

Today is our Inspiration challenge!   Below is the picture for this challenge.  Let me tell you we rotated the months to set up what challenges we would do during the year and February was my month, well I have to admit even though I picked the below picture as the inspiration this week it was so hard for me to do  a winter card!  We have had wonderful weather all week and today was no different  Good luck I hope this inspires you to create!

It’s Sunday time for another Challenge!

Good Morning all!   It's time for a new challenge over at Crafty Ho's.  Today's is a theme and the theme today is  Love.   It’s a great time to finish up all those last minute Valentine cards  you need to do because there is only a week left!

Below is  my card using an image from  Inktegrity.   I ran my Kraft Cardstock through my printer for the sentiment then printed the image on white cardstock.   the great little hears are from Hob Lob and I think they helped to finish up the card nicely!

NO NO DESIGNER PAPER!

Welcome to another week with the Crafty Ho's.  Since this month there's an extra "week" we like to do a recipe challenge. This time the recipe is simple. You can create your card with anything except for Designer Paper. Absolutely no designer paper allowed.

For my card I used this adorable image by Lori Boyd. I used all PTI paper for this challenge and my embossing folders to help add texture.  Do you know how hard it is to tell someone addicted to DP not  to use DP, travesty  I tell ya!

Good Morning all!   It's time for a new challenge over at Crafty Ho's.  Today's challenge is a sketch, the sketch was provided by our very own Rae Anne and I have to admit I loved working with it.  It is a clean and simple sketch and very easy to work with so I hope you will join us this week.

When I was trying to decide what image to use I found a new challenge blog out there and I have to admit the images are just adorable.   The images are Lori Boyd’s Designs, I was very happy to hear that Lori is a fellow Kentucky native which is very cool.  You can find her adorable images right here!

The current challenge just so happens to be their first Challenge so I decided to play along.

Challenge Time At Crafty Ho’s

So today is Sunday which means that it's time for another Crafty Ho's Challenge! That's right, a great group of friends of mine, the 'Ho's', created a challenge blog called Crafty Ho's Challenge Blog! Each week on Sunday we share with everyone more creations using the same challenge as inspiration! Thanks to everyone who participated in our “Sketch Challenge”  last week, we are so lucky to have such great followers.

This week the challenge is an inspiration challenge what do you think of when you see the above picture?  Well to me it is autumn all the way that is way I used the Fall image from Bugaboo's AKV Fall. I used designer paper from a stack pack I had added ribbon and felt flowers from my stash.  The sentiment was a freebie which I love.

Here is my card.  I used Florence an image from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps, a line I have been seeing around for a while and finally took the plunge a couple of months ago and purchased me a few.  I used a coloring page that I scaled down for the background picture and the sentiment is from a fav freebie site that I visit daily Create with TLC.  The designer paper is from my stash.  Thanks for stopping by today !
