Bugaboo is having a DT Call and you are invited!

Bugaboo Stamps  is looking to add new design team members to their current team!  We need your help and enthusiasm promoting our products through your personal blog and online galleries.  We are looking for team members who are excited about creating, and would love being a part of a fun and friendly design environment.

Week 2 at Crafty’s Challenge Blog

That’s right we made it through our first challenge and we got some great cards entered for the challenge.  This week we switch gears a little.  We want you to show us what you do with a single layer card, that's right we have been matting and layering forever now we want a single layer card with buttons and ribbon.  Does not sound to hard but it is not as easy as it sounds.   Here is my card for the challenge.

Aww who does not love the color green?

Here is my project for today I decided to alter the great mug I found at the Dollar Tree, they have some awesome things to alter!  The image used is ‘Gus’ one of my favorite characters from Bugaboo.

Ok now time for the Good News/Bad News part of my post. 

Over the last month we have had the pleasure of having Ms. Gabby  green eyes herself as our very first Guest Design Team Member and it has been such a great pleasure having her and her wonderful work for the month, but… all good things must come to an end and is her last official task for us.  Gabby you will be so missed I hope you will pop in once in awhile, don’t forget you always have a family here at Bugaboo!  We love ya!

However sad it is to see Gabby go on the flip side as a month ends it means that a new one comes and guess what a new Guest Design Team Member also!  So please join me in welcoming  Ms March, our next Guest Design Team Member , Cheryl Joshua, which incidentally is your next stop in the hop!   You can find Cheryl’s blog here, go check her out and give her a huge welcome we are so happy to have her on our team for the month.  Cheryl is an amazing crafter check out her projects and share the love!

Welcome to Oldie but Goodie Day at Bugaboo

This Tugs for you!

This is my card I submitted for the latest challenge over at SMC’s challenge blog and today's great images are curtsey of Inktegrity ,  I am proud to say I got to meet Joni the owner a couple years ago and I have also been her guest designer for the month of February.  This has been a great experience and I am so happy to have had the opportunity!
Here is my card which features her Little Tug (part of the going places series) and also includes the little dolphins from SMC’s.   I was able to make it a movable card by using a penny, pop dots and a slot punch.

There is a new Challenge blog!

A group of us from  SCS have become close friends through the years have had some great times.  We  have decided to come together as a as a team to create a challenge blog.  We all love to create and thought this would be a great way for us to have fun doing what we love to do and sharing with others.  We will be hosting weekly themes that will vary from sketch, color, technique, ect.

 

Here are all the rules for our challenge:

 

1. Please use only original artwork designed for this challenge - not previously made for other challenges, swaps, etc. Feel free to combine your project for this challenge with any other challenges, only required to be something new.

2. You may submit as many entries as you like, just make sure that they are all different.

3. Challenges will be posted every Sunday and will run til 11pm EST the following Saturday. This should give you plenty of time to get them done and entered.

4. Post your link directly to the post for this challenge project - not a general link to your blog - to Mr. Linky.

5. We will be using random.org to choose our challenge winner so that everyone has an equal chance of winning.

6. Most importantly: HAVE FUN!! If you have any questions or comments, please let us know, we are here to be as supportive and inspiring as we can:)

Into our Lives a little rain must fall!

So true, so  true!   I did this project for SMC for their sketch challenge this week.   I love the duck in the umbrella it is Duncan one of the newer characters at SMC’s I love him he was introduced as part of the January release!  I thought I would send this to my Daughter who is away at college who happens to adore ducks.  I thought this would make her smile and remind her that she can handle anything that comes her way.

 

I used paper from my stash and generated the sentiment from my computer.  

 

New Challenge at SMC!

Today our sponsor is  Wags N Whiskers and this is my card I did for this week.  This little cutie called Hey Grandma, I paired it up with SMC little puppy.  You can get this great stamp here as well as other cute stamps so go check it out.

Check out this Cutie!

I found a great new digi company and I just wanted to share this with you.  The company is Sassy Cheryls you can find her store here  and her images are so so cute.  When I saw this little conductor I just knew I had to pair it up with Joni's train set from Inktegrity which included the great sentiments.   So go ahead check out both sites you will not be disappointed!

For this project I used paper from a Stack Pack that I had left over.  I used Bazzil Navy paper as my base and the ribbon is one Mikes $1 bin ribbon.

What a Happy Day with a Great Opportunity!

Here is my card I thought would make a great gift card holder. I did the card matchbook style which I love it is done in really bright colors of hot pink and orange which I think is a great change from the pastels.

50/50 Challenge time!

I'm part of this new group called the Special 50-50 Stamping Group. The idea is that the group will be made up of 50 digital stamp designers and 50 card-makers. Every month the designers post an image for the card-makers to use. You can choose to take any of the images you want and create with them.
