Last challenge for 2011!

Hello and welcome back I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends!   Now we celebrate the end of the year it is so hard to believe that 2011 is all but gone!   I hope that 2012 brings nothing but good for everyone!

Time for a new challenge at Bugaboo

Thanks for stopping by today , I hope you are ready for the holidays because they are back!   I want to wish all my followers a Very Merry Christmas and the best of New Years!   I hope you get to spend the holiday just and you want!

On to the challenge today.  Now this on is a tough one even though it is one of the first “Non” holiday cards for quite some time so that is a relief because I am ready to work on other projects!

Below is my card following the theme of Red/Blue/Pink with Glitter or Flock!  Sounds tough and trust me I was not the only one with blocked mojo on this but luckily I found this paper in my stash that fits the bill!

I created a quick little house warming present or a party gift just something fun.  I got my towels and pot holders rolled them together  with ribbon and a gold button to top it off!

Baby It’s Cold Outside!

It’s time for another challenge today  and our theme is Baby it’s Cold Outside!  I don’t know about you but today it is cold! 

Below are some cups I made for my “Big” (Believe in God)  kids that I teach on Wednesday nights.   I found these cups at  the Dollar Tree.    They are great b/c you open them up and can “customize them” .  So I took some wrapping paper I had and lined them with that then added the Bugaboo image one for the boys and one for the girls. 

I included a pack of hot chocolate and marshmallows inside the mug and topped it with this great ribbon I have had which is red on one side and green on the other added  a candy cane to finish it off.    I was able to give them each a little something for less than $1.50!

Below is a gable box that I pulled from my stash for some special cookies made for a friend.   I thought this image was perfect to spotlight not only the cookies but the great box as well.   I added some ribbon to finish it off!

Below is my card using JJ Blizen.   I used some Stampin Up paper  that I have been hording, then added some twine and flowers to finish it off!  My card is also used for one of today’s latest “sponsor  challenge” from or Crafty Sprouts!

Well Day 8 is of course 8 maids a milking!  Our Play on this is something with “milk and cookies”!  I created a recipe card using one of my favorite cookie recipe “Magic Cookie Bars”.  This is a great recipe that takes very little effort to create!   I used paper from Me and My big ideas paper pack and image from the Occupation Bears line.

As we know the sixth day is six geese a laying well we decided a play on words so we would like to see a humorous project.  Below I decided to alter a “Bag of Coal” I found at the Dollar Tree.  I created a tag with JJ Cheers!   I think this will make a great package topper for one of the “Guys” on Christmas Eve when we do a “White Elephant”  exchange.
