April Showers Bring May Flowers!

Today we start a new challenge for Bugaboo and this week it is Flowers/pastel colors!     Tomorrow is the big day for the opening of the new store.  Be sure and stop by the blog for a huge reveal and ways to win a fabulous prize to boot!

Below is my card using one of my favorites PTI Kraft paper and I paired it with a light blue and made a simple card that is sure to fit any occasion.  I created the sentiment on the computer and added ribbon to finish it off.

Easter Blessings!

This week at Crafty Hos we have a new challenge! This time we have a picture inspired challenge paired with the optional sketch below! You can do either one or the other or BOTH! It's up to you! We really hope you can join us this week! We wish those of you who are celebrating Easter a Happy and Blessed Holiday!

I created this card for a little girl who is dear to my heart.   Olivia is going to baptized today at our church.  Olivia is one of the kids I get to work with on my Wednesday night Bible studies for kids and she is one amazing eight year old little girl and I am very proud of her and her decision to accept Christ today on such an important day!

Below is my card using PTI lemon tart card stock and a freebie image from Jami Bova, I thought the image was perfect for the occasion and Jami is such a talented artist! 

Let the Rain Begin!!

Good Morning how are you!  It’s time for Bugaboo’s weekly challenge!  We had a great Easter challenge last week we had over 100 wonderful creations!

This week our challenge is Rain!  No rain dances please we have had enough!   Below is my card in which I merged a few  of my favorite Bugaboo characters added my sentiment and printed it on white card stock to create a clean and simple card.

I colored with Zig markers so they did not bleed.  I paper pieced then glazed for texture and shine.   I decided to use my scor pal to add my lines as an added touch.  To finish off my project I used little “nail jewels” that I had gotten at the Dollar Store I thought they made perfect rain drops!

Easter Challenge at Bugaboo

Thank you for stopping by today!   We are having  and Easter challenge at Catch The Bug Challenge Blog and I hope you will think about joining us!   Below is two cards that I did for the challenge!   I am on a single layer kick only this time I did some paper piecing on it to add to them.  Both are on Kraft Brown card stock from PTI.   The sentiments were freebies.  I used Zig markers to add color, I love my copics however they do bleed so that is not an option for the one layer cards.  You can find these adorable Easter images as well as many many more at the Bugaboo Store found here!
