Here we go, our first challenge with our new blog changes at What’ the Scoop at Paper Popsicles!!  Now, let’s get the new details out of the way and then it will be time to create!

My name is Jodie .  I have 5 beautiful children, Skye (16), Isabella (almost 3), Desiree (9), Sean (11), Michael (12) Add in a dog and a cat to that .....a houseful!  They keep me very busy and no...I am not crazy...LOL..well ..maybe a little!

I have been designing graphics for 7  years, mostly for those who digitize, and now venturing into this new idea of stamps. I love to draw and love to see were my designs go and how they are used.

When you live in a tiny Saskatchewan town, sending your images to Iceland, the Netherlands, Africa to name a few is very exciting!

I live in a tiny Saskatchewan town. Before moving to Saskatchewan I lived in Alberta.....were i could get a DONAIR!! LOL (sure do miss them) I enjoy reading V.C Andrews, love anything to do with crafts (I just wish I had the time to do them!) I love to draw (obviously) write poems, LOVE Bon Jovi, and am in the middle of writing a kids book I would love to see published one day.

For my card I used PTI card stock for the base, and for the border which happens to be the new Die from PTI also.  I then created my own background paper with the drinks and clocks, brayed the paper and cut it to fit my cardstock added some bling and there you go.  Thanks for stopping by today!!

Here is my “shape” card for the week. This week Is this great Elephant shape, which I cut out with Scal,  ran it through my Cuttlbug with embossing folder.  Added some bling and there you have it!

This is a card I created for this weeks challenge over at SMC.  The challenge this week was a freebie so I decided to use this adorable image  of Owen and Hersey and decided to add some clouds to help make it pop.

Below is my card that I created for this week’s challenge.  I used the image that is from Fred She Said  and thought it would make a great mans card.  Please note the image is a pre-colored image, these are great when you are in a hurry and yesterday I was in a hurry.  I like how the image looked split.  I used the Martha Steward zig zag punch to create the border.   I hope you will join us for the challenge this week.

Another Challenge at SMC

Hey all sorry  my post is late, had to spend the night with MIL last night who had just had surgery earlier this week.  It was my turn well she does not have internet access and I was not aware of this until after I had gotten there.  I apologize for the delay but there was nothing I could do.   So this weeks card for SMC is to create an Easel card, I absolutely  love Easel Cards.  I love how easy they go together and I love how they look once finished.

The image is one of the new Tayla Love Tree it just made me thought of encouragement when I saw it.   With my card I used an image form http://gingershouse.blogspot.com/a favorite sentiment site for me. I used paper from One heart on mind.

Give Me Some Flower Power!

It’s all about the flowers this week!   That is awesome since this weekend just so happens to be Mother’s Day weekend, one of the biggest weekends for flowers.   I wanted to wish a very Happy Mother’s Day to all my fellow mother’s out there in blog land and on my Design Teams.  I hope you have a very special Mother’s Day with Your loved ones!

I recently needed to do some “Thank You” cards and decided that these flowers fit the bill perfectly!   This is from a mini set found here that includes lots of great images for any of your flower needs.

I used PTI Midnight Blue and Lemon Tart papers. The Ribbon is a wonderful goodie I got from a recent “digi” Swap thanks so much to the great hostess for sending the yummy ribbon!

Well we have a while before Christmas however over at SMC we will be doing a Christmas project every month!   What a great way to get some great Christmas projects out there.   With this card I used a cut file I had collected but never used, I thought this image was perfect for it!

On Your Special Day!

I did this wedding card a few weeks ago for a wedding that my husband and I attended.  I found out that they made their own invites and they were very nice.  I asked about their colors and found out they were ivory, and gray and navy.   The ivory paper they used was gorgeous and I decided to use it for their card also as well as the ribbon that was on their invite.

Of course I used the Bugaboo image which is way cute.   I hope  you like it, and thanks for stopping by today!
