For this challenge we want to see A Sentiment/Card For A Child.

Below is my  card using some Anna Griffin Paper I got at Michaels  several years ago I thought it helped to make a great vintage Baby card just a little different than the normal pastels  you see all the time and I just thought the image needed something just a little different.  I used my little flowers, oh I hope I don’t run out anytime soon because I love them so much

Our DT decided to swap out ATC cards.  Below is the ATC I made using Clyde the Dragon.   The cards we got back were amazing to say the least and it was a great swap!   

Paper used was from a book I got from Hobby Lobby some time ago, I used some of my little flowers and used Diamond Glaze to accent the lady bugs!

It’s Monochromatic Time at Bugaboo

Today we bring  you a Monochromatic challenge for Bugaboo.   I always get a mental block with this type of challenge but decided to go with white today.  I have to admit I really like the way that white on white looks.  I think it is a very classy  look.  

Here is my card using one of the great Butterfly tags and white card stock.  I added my 3 buttons, lace, pearls and ribbon to finish it off.   I ran some of the Card stock through the Cuttlebug for texture and added blue to the inner oval for just a touch of color to tie in with the image.

New Challenge for Critter Sketch!

Happy Monday!  Thanks for stopping by today!  Over at Critter Sketches  we begin a new challenge this week and it is an inspirational challenge and the inspiration is the picture below.  I wish I was on this beach  right now!

Below is my card using the colors that I thought helped to show my thoughts when I see this picture.    I used PTI brown craft which to me represents the sand and the the blues and greens and gray remind me of other colors you would see on the beach.  The great image is the freebie from Hambo Stamps for this weeks HoDown if you played along last week.  Their challenge this week was sparkle so I added some glitter to the had and nails some shiny silver ribbon and the paper also sparkles IRL.

Here is my card using a Bugaboo Bug that is adorable!   I used some wonderful DT that I had from a baby matt stack and added it to PTI Lemon as well as the blue stitched ribbon I found in my stash.

Let’s go Green!

Today I get to share with you my projects for my  final assignment as  Guest Designer for March at  A Day for Daises!  Tammy’s wonderful images you really need to check them out here!

Today starts a new Challenge and I am so glad to be a part of it!  The challenge to day is Going Green so anything Green is what your project needs to be and I think my projects fit in nicely!

Below is my card, my favorite easel fold.  I used one of the brand new images found here.  Talk about sweet, these images are awesome, I just could not resist grabbing a couple.  I used  Mellow Moss by Stampin Up for my base and plum then used some DP by Paper Studio I had on hand also added some of the mulberry flowers to  finish it off.no DP which is really odd of me.  I used Stampin up my card stock.

Challenge Time!

It’s Challenge time over at Catch the Bug Challenge blog and this week an Anything Goes.  

There is a funny story about this card.  My hubby works with a girl who has 3 adorable children under the age of 6.   She and my husband are very close they act as though they were siblings.   Last fall she and her hubby went away for a well deserved quiet weekend.  After she came back to work my husband told her kiddingly you gonna get preggers of course she said no way!  Well it just so happens that she did and guess what it’s Twin boys!   Wow, talk about busy, but Brooke is an excellent mom and Josh is a wonderful dad so they will be just fine however my husband could not resist teasing Josh as he plans his much avoided trip to the doctors in the very near future.  My  hubby asked me if I could make him a card to give to Josh. 

Below is my card using American craft DP and Stampin Up card stock.   I added the pin and the bow to finish off my card.  I used Bently and added another to make the twins,  The original sentiment said May cause but I changed it to say Will because Brooke has ready said this will cause a vasectomy!

Guest Designer for A Day for Daisies!

I am very happy to share with you that I am the Guest Designer for March at  A Day for Daises!  If you have never see Tammy’s wonderful images you really need to check them out here!

Today starts a new Challenge and I am so glad to be a part of it!  The challenge to day is All Girls so anything Girly is what your project needs to be and I think my projects fit in nicely!

Before I show you my projects though I thought I would also mention that today is a new release day also!  Here is a preview of what we will see later today!

Below are my projects the first one using the image grumpy but she is  so stinkin cute I think she would melt your heart no matter what.  I used purple from PTI and lavender from Stampin up.  I added some lace that I found at Hobby Lobby in their close out section for next to nothing!  The flowers are part of my latest obsession I just love them!

My second project uses the image Hello and she is darling as well.  I used her with these great goodie bags I found on close out as well.   I think she fits nicely as a bag topper.   I put layered her on cardstock and added pearls to finish it off.
