Today over at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog we are starting a different kind of challenge. We are all aware that October is Breast Cancer awareness month however we were talking one day and we realized that everyone has a “Cause:” something that they believe in and want to bring attention to. Well we decided instead of just “Pink” we would showcase “Our Causes” so each team member could decide what they wanted to stand up for. I decided to stand up for Alzheimer’s. My grandpa and my grandma both suffered from it and my dear FIL passed away almost 3 years ago with complications of Alzheimer’s. How sad and frustrating it must be to not remember your children and or a spouse. While doing research I found some great sites for assistance for families dealing with an Alzheimer's diagnosis my favorite being the http://www.alz.org/index.asp.
In addition to our regular winnings here are 2 more ways that you can win:
Jodie. Owner of Bugaboo stamps has generously provided a wonderful opportunity for you to be able to give two wonderful causes and in return you get up to 14 free images images! That’s right for spending $20 on two very very important causes you get free images! Link in which you can get free images for donated to one of two causes, so please check the link out here!
Also check out our Great sponsor for this heartfelt challenge!
In addition to the Bugaboo Stamps images up for grabs, our challenge is also sponsored by Creative Craft World this week and they have generously donated a set of Promarkers in skin tones for the winner.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will join us for our challenge and show someone you care by taking up a cause and show support.

Alzheimer's Prayer
Dear Lord,
Please grant my visitors tolerance for my confusion,
Forgiveness for my irrationality and the strength
To walk with me into the mist of memory
My world has become.
Please let them take my hand and stay awhile,
Even though I seem unaware of their presence.
Help them to know how their strength
And loving care will drift slowly
Into the days to come just when I need it most.
Let them know when I don't recognize them
That I will. . . I will.
Keep their hearts free from sorrow for me,
For my sorrow, when it comes,
Only lasts a moment, when it's gone.
And finally Lord, please let them know,
How very much their visits mean,
How even through this relentless mystery,
I can still feel their love.
Amen!

It strikes such a chord with me ...
Gorgeous card Tammy and what a beautiful prayer.
Tammy - I've never seen that prayer before, but with having my hubby's aunt who has Alzheimers, this is perfect to share with family!
Beautiful card too!
Hugs & Happy Days!

Tammy, I was just sniffling up until this point, but now I'm full-out bawling! My Uncle Daniel is in the late stages of this terrible disease, and what comfort this poem brought me. I'm going to share it with my family. Tammy, your card is so beautiful too - You completely outdid yourself on this one! :D MWAH!
Oh Tammy, this card is fabulous and the thought behind it is even more so! I haven't seen that prayer before, but I am making a note of it now, unfortunately a lot of people suffer from this disease, I hope that they find cures or better methods for treatment soon.
Gorgeous Tammy. Thanks for joining us at Craftalicious. Hugs Tracy x
